Pilx is a service that allows busineses automate process of preparation reports. There are a diverse user base, segmented into three primary categories. Such as employees who handle corporate card expenses and registration, accountants responsible for monitoring and verifying financial activities, and company owners who wants to see comprehensive statistics without delving into the transaction details. Our journey with Pilx involved addressing key usability challenges. Initially, we faced issues with non-intuitive implementation of crucial user scenarios. Additionally, the service sported an outdated style for its user interface components. Scope of work included UX analytics, wire framing, visual UI design, and product branding. The most noteworthy achievement was the significant increase in daily active users (DAU), alongside the cessation of negative ratings and reviews across app stores, indicating a vastly improved user experience.

I crafted interactive flows to validate our hypotheses, conducting both in-house testing with employees and tests involving external respondents. We gathered valuable feedback and, notably, users successfully completed tasks with minimal issues.

Prior to commencing UI design, I established a product branding concept. The new logo, a simplified depiction of a report table, effectively conveys our intended message of simplicity and clarity to our users.

The main screen provides users with an overview of their operations and their current statuses, including card transactions and transactions from the MyChekiOnline system (if linked to the account). Users can also view transactions they've personally added.

The report comprises multiple sections. Users start by completing the header, attaching receipts and other payment documents, and then send the report to the accountant for review. The current status is prominently displayed at the top of the report.

On the statistics screen, users can track key metrics, such as the most popular spending categories, which employees have the highest expenses, and which organizations account for the majority of expenditures.

In the settings, the user can manage the basic parameters of the account, add or remove other users or companies that have access to the account.

The screen for a specific receipt displays a digital version of the receipt, additional data, and other documents associated with this check.

In cases where data is absent, empty states communicate this effectively to the user. Instead of encountering a confusing void, users receive a clear message about the absence of information
